Situated on the left bank of the Gironde estuary, Pauillac is the most prestigious village in the Médoc. The first traces of vine plantations in Pauillac date back to the Roman era. In the 1855 Grands Crus Classitication ordered by Napoleon Ill, Pauillac counts the most estates. As a Grand Cru Classé estate in the most prestigious village of the region, it is no surprise that Lynch Moussas produces grapes of outstanding quality for high-precision winemaking.
