The Producer:

Michel Girard and his sons perpetuate a family vine-growing tradition that dates back to the French Revolution. Michel crafts this complex Sancerre cuvée from his vineyards planted in the three renowned types of soils that made the fame of the small town of Sancerre worldwide: Caillotes (limestone), Terres Blanches (white marl, and Silex (flint). The skillful combination of those three soils results in a great Sancerre: subtle yet exciting, savory yet racy.
