A fresh and wonderful bouquet of sour cherries, fresh raspberries, and cranberries with notes of Sichuan pepper and licorice. pleasant chalky tannins and nice acidity. Solid Gamay!

The Producer:

"I've been in this since I was a little boy. It used to be a farm here, with cows, sheep, pigs, prairies and 4 hectares of vines. When my father noticed my interest for the grapes, he stopped selling them to the cooperative and we started making wines ourselves. It was almost fifty years ago. When my father retired I had to do everything myself. including going to Paris to sell my wines. The wines I like to drink? Easy drinking reds with light tannins"
